Self Compassion
Being able to manage our difficult emotions and thoughts plays a significant part in our overall mental health and wellbeing although many of us resort to harsh self -criticism and judgement.

Self-compassion is composed of four key components: mindfulness, which involves keeping your emotions and thoughts balanced, shared common humanity, which involves recognising that everyone experiences challenges, self- support which enables us develop the wisdom and courage to do what’s best for ourselves in any given moment and of course its important that we do all of this with a sense of kindness to self, the fourth component.
